BULLS CHANGE SEVEN AGAINST CRUSADERS

THE Northern Bulls have made seven changes for Friday’s Super 12 rugby game against the Crusaders and have sent three injured players home. Springboks prop Os du Randt, flanker Schutte Bekker and fullback Hannes Venter left for South Africa on Wednesday to recuperate. Midfielders Wynand Lourens and Eugene Meyer are also on the casaulty list and have been replaced in the starting lineup, Bulls manager Wynie Strydom said Wednesday. Coach Heyneke Meyer has brought in Jorrie Kruger at fullback and Jaco van der Westhuizen and Tiaan Joubert in midfield. Piet Joubert replaces Bekker as the openside flanker and Sias Wagner takes over from du Randt in the front row. The Bulls have also introduced Wium Basson at lock for Matt Frank and Jacob Espag at prop for Johan Human.
