ANGOLA SETS MINIMUM WAGE

THE Angolan Confederation of Unions (UNTA-CS) and the government have agreed to set the minimum monthly wage at $50, a union official said on Wednesday. UNTA-CS had staged strikes on December 12-13 and January 8 and 13 to push for higher wages. – AFP
