TWO Kenyan boys were charged on Monday with murdering 67 schoolmates who died when their dormitory was set on fire last month. Felix Ngumbao and Davis Onyango, both 17-year-old pupils of Kyanguli Mixed Secondary School were not required to plead to the charges because the prosecution documents were not ready. The two boys were remanded in custody until April 23. The school’s headmaster David Mutiso Kiilu and his deputy Stephen Kasyoka Makale were also charged with “failing to use reasonable means to prevent a felony”. They denied the charge and were remanded in custody until their bail hearing on Wednesday.
