POLICE on Tuesday found suspected stolen property during a raid on a funeral parlour in Lenasia, south of Johannesburg. Superintendent Norman Ponnusammy said police raided the Lenasia branch of City Funerals on Tuesday afternoon and found 87 body bags and two trolleys belonging to the police’s Diepkloof mortuary. The items were worth about R130 000, Punnasamy said. Arrests were expected shortly. – Sapa
