DAGGA FOUND IN OVERTURNED BAKKIE

THIRTEEN bags of dagga with a street value of R30 000 was discovered inside an overturned bakkie on the N3 near Camperdown on Saturday, the KwaZulu-Natal traffic inspectorate said on Sunday. Representative Vijen Murugan said traffic officers on routine patrol spotted the bakkie. ”Upon closer investigation, the officers discovered the dagga inside the bakkie. Police believe that the driver of the bakkie who may have been injured in the accident, fled shortly after the crash,” Murugan said. He said a bullet hole was discovered in the front of the bakkie above the registration number plate. ”The bullet hole seems to have come from a high calibre gun. An old bullet hole was also found on the passenger door of the bakkie.” – Sapa
