South African financial services group Old Mutual Asset Managers (OMAM, OML) has scooped four awards for its unit trusts’ investment performance in the annual
Standard and Poor’s – Financial Mail Unit Trust rankings for 2002.
The awards, which were announced last week, saw OMAM winning the Fund of the Year (2002) for the highest total return of all funds in the South African market for its Old Mutual Gold Fund, as well as the Most improved Group of the year–for best aggregate improvement in all unit trust funds managed.
OMAM’s Nedbank Managed Fund received the accolade for Top Balanced Prudential Fund over five years — managed by OMAM for Nedbank Manco — and the OMAM (UK) Global Bond Fund of Funds was judged Top Foreign Fixed Interest Fund for 2002. – I-Net-Bridge
