Leopards triumph over Rangers

Manning Rangers lost three vital points when they were beaten 3-1 by the Black Leopards in a Castle Premiership match played at Chatsworth Stadium on Wednesday night.

The visitors led 2-1 at the interval.

Leopards goals were netted by Justice Sithole, who scored a brace, and Richard Lishivha while Kerryn Jordaan scored the consolation for the Mighty Maulers.

The Limpopo based side had better chances in the first half of this game. This was marked by the brace of Sithole who found the back of the net as early as the first minute.

This goal was cancelled by Jordaan in the 21st minute. In the 38th minute Sithole scored again.

Lishivha increased the lead in the 82nd minute. This was after collecting a ball from from the two goal hero before firing a shot which left Ranger’s goalie John Tlale flat footed. – Sapa
