Celtic lost to Mamelodi Sundowns by 2-1 in a Castle Premiership encounter played at a packed Seisa Ramabodu Stadium in Bloemfontein on Sunday afternoon. The visitors led 1-0 at the interval thanks to a goal by Ezrom Nyandoro in the 23rd minute.
The home side pushed forward in numbers in the second half in search of an equaliser and were rewarded in the 58th minute when captain Lehlohonolo Seema cancelled the Brazilians’ goal, to the delight of their fans.
But their pleasure didn’t last long as Rotson Kilambe, who replaced Raphael Chukwu in the beginning of the second half, scored the winner in the 62nd minute. – Sapa
