Sundowns held to a draw

Mamelodi Sundowns were held to a 0-0 draw by a determined Dynamos at the Securicor Loftus stadium in Pretoria on Sunday.

The visitors were let down by their lack of ideas. Mpho Maleka and Thomas Ledigwane missed early chances that could have given their team a dream start to the game.

Sundowns were in poor form in the first half as they struggled to string passes together, but matters seemed to improve in the second half after Paul Dolezar replaced Surprise Moriri with Josta Dladla.

With fresh legs, Dladla brought new ideas to the Sundowns attack with darting runs, although he was also guilty of giving possession away.

Sundowns nearly scored the winner in the last minute of the game when Lucas Sebona’s header rebounded off the upright from a free-kick taken by Clement Mazibuko. – Sapa
