Supersport United hope to become the second club in less than a week to beat Moroka Swallows during their Castle Premiership match at Loftus Stadium on Wednesday, starting at 8pm.
The match was initially scheduled for Rand Stadium but was moved to Pretoria after the league decided to close down the Johannesburg venue.
The Premier Soccer League temporarily closed Rand Stadium after several clubs complained bitterly about its poor conditions.
Swallows are still reeling from a 2-1 defeat by Bloemfontein Celtic at Vodacom Park Stadium last Sunday.
”We are fired up to hand Swallows yet another hammering after losing to Celtic in Bloemfontein,” said United spokesperson David Skhosana.
”We have been training hard and our players are ready for Swallows. We are definitely going to sent them back to Soweto empty-handed.”
However, Swallows spokesperson Sipho Xulu said they are determined to return to their winning ways at the expense of United.
”It will be a tough match but we would like to assure our supporters that we will come back with the three points at stake,” said Xulu. — Sapa
