Bush Bucks share spoils with Leopards

Bush Bucks shared the points when they played to a goaless draw with Black Leopards in a closely contested Premier Soccer League match at the Absa Stadium in East London on Wednesday night.

Imbabala have only themselves to blame for failing to grab maximum points. Bucks were badly let down by their striker’s poor finishing, with the main culprits being Agent Sawu and Bulelani Matross, who both missed more than a dozen chances.

Leopards striker Nthembe Netshidzivhe came close to opening the score in the fifth minute, but headed wide after connecting a cross from Duncan Lechesa. At the other end, Leopards goalkeeper Walter Khumalo made a breathtaking save in the 35th minute from a Wellington Sambu strike.

Bucks substitute Mhlonitshwa Mbaambo failed to beat Khumalo in the 80th minute after latching onto a cross from Jonathan Armogan. – Sapa
