Kate Moss on new drug allegations

British supermodel Kate Moss Friday faced stinging new allegations of drug abuse as cosmetic giants and leading fashion houses were reported to be considering the future of her contracts.

The London Times and a string of popular newspapers said the career of the 31-year-old model from Croydon, near London, was now on the line.

Moss, who makes millions from lucrative deals with companies including Burberry, Dior and Chanel, has previously admitted taking drugs.

The Sun said Moss was ”blowing £200 a day on cocaine”.

”Kate’s on coke morning, noon and night”, said the Sun.

In a series of photographs in the Daily Mirror, Moss is seen allegedly snorting cocaine in a London recording studio.

The newspaper claimed Friday that Moss talked openly about using skunk — a super-strength strain of cannabis — with friends of her lover, the drug addict musician Pete Doherty.

According to the Mirror, Moss produced a ”mammoth stash” of cocaine from her handbag and chopped it out on a CD cover. The paper published photographs from a video to support the allegations.

”If she’s with Pete Doherty, she’s not going to be on herbal tea”, said the Times. – Sapa-DPA
