Sheep droppings and shaved eyebrows

The ex-wife of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Land Affairs Dirk du Toit is traumatised by strange things happening in her Bloemfontein flat, News24 reported on Tuesday.

It said she has reported several ”scary” experiences to the police, such as having her eyebrows and hair shaved while she slept at night.

Niconette du Toit said ”someone” kept coming into her flat in Bayswater.

Her documents were stolen, her cellphone was broken, calls were made on her cellphone, and her jewellery and make-up were stolen. Someone also used her bath one morning while she was at the gymnasium.

”The worst was when physical contact was made with me while I slept. When I got up, I didn’t feel good. Both my eyebrows had been shaved off and chunks of my hair were gone,” News24 quoted her as saying. ”The doctor confirmed it, but the attorney just brushed it off.”

Du Toit said she has smelled ”sheep droppings” in her car, which means someone must have driven a sheep around in it. She no longer goes to church because she found out ”they” drive around in the car while she is sitting in church.

She also claimed her geyser has been damaged, a glass door kicked down and a window broken, and an attempt was made to saw off the burglar bars in front of her balcony.

Du Toit compiled a document about the events and handed it over to the police. She laid a complaint of damage to property and harassment, but felt she was not being taken seriously.

She said the harassment has lasted 15 years so far. People have dismissed it as psychological problems and her ex-husband apparently said ”it’s all in my head”. The trauma eventually led to the divorce.

Police spokesperson Inspector Harry Nagel said police know about Du Toit’s complaints. They are still investigating and there has been no breakthrough. — Sapa
