The world’s tallest man is searching high and low for a girlfriend to share his life with, a Hong Kong news report said on Thursday.
Bao Xishun (55) from China is 2,36m tall but has never married or even dated because of his extreme height, according to the Hong Kong edition of the China Daily.
The gentle giant from a family of herdsmen in Inner Mongolia has now taken out a newspaper advertisement saying he needs love and wants a woman to care for him, according to the newspaper.
Bao, who has five normal-sized brothers and sisters, was earlier this year officially recognised by Guinness World Records as the tallest man on the planet.
His height was normal for his age until he was 15 when he went through an extraordinary growth spurt that saw him reach 2,1m by the age of 20.
Bao now weighs 165kg, has legs that stretch for 1,5m and his feet are each 38cm in length. – Sapa-DPA
