The sixth teenager accused of the murder of King Edward VII school pupil Mfundo Ntshangase was denied bail in the Randburg Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
Bail was denied because the state said there were not enough grounds to grant him bail. He had been in custody since his arrest in September.
Four of the seven teenagers arrested in connection with the death of Ntshangase appeared in court. Warrants of arrest were issued for the other three as they failed to show up. One of the three was reported to be absent as he was writing examinations.
The case against them was postponed to December 10.
Ntshangase and his friend were stabbed at a party in Randburg in September. The friend survived.
