In the second installment of our series on the National Senior Certificate exams, we look at Afrikaans Home Language Paper 1.
Ermyntrude Foord, grade 12 educator at Hoërskool Sasolburg says the paper was a bit of a mixed bag, but was very fair overall.
”I found that the first section was very easy, but there were some very difficult sections as well,” she said.
”I think the learners had a general idea of what to expect thanks to the exemplars, although this paper was much more challenging than the common paper they wrote in September.”
