  • Gift of the Givers
    Established in 1992 Gift of the Givers is a prolific and well-respected aid organisation in South Africa with Muslim roots. They have been very active abroad and are a good place to start if you are looking for a local charity.

    This famous humanitarian agency offers neutral assistance to victims of war and disaster. The South African branch is joining in the larger campaign.

  • Unicef
    The UN’s children branch has joined its mother body for an appeal for $562-million for humanitarian operation in Haiti. UNICEF will use $120-million for its work with children.

  • Doctors Without Borders
    Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international medical humanitarian organization created by doctors and journalists in France in 1971.
