Calling all Saffas!

The Mail & Guardian is conducting interviews with South Africans living in the United Kingdom, regarding President Jacob Zuma’s first state visit there from 03 March 2010.

Tell us what your impressions are of Zuma in the UK. Below are a few questions that you can answer in an email to us.

  1. What is the general feeling in the UK about Zuma’s state visit? Is it a big deal? Are there South African flags everywhere?
  2. How does the British public view the South African president? Do they respect him?
  3. How do South Africans in the UK feel about the president’s visit? Are they embarrassed or proud?
