Absa recently launched MyHome, which is a home loan offering 110% on the value of the home for people who earn below R15 142 a month.
This means no deposit, and bond costs are also included — these are normally around 4% of the purchase price of the property. No longer having to have a deposit will make it far easier for lower middle-income earners to buy their first home.
