Where is God?

Where is God?

In a year of shaking earth and fiery revolution, we thought our annual edition on issues around religion should find out where He should be. Turns out, everywhere. We found him in Zen, online, in Houghton and maybe even with the agnostics. But not so much in politics.

Ahead of the edition, we wanted to air an advertisement to spread the word, but the radio station wouldn’t let us, saying it may offend listeners’ sensitivities.

Listen here, and tell us what you think.

And look out for the God Edition in this week’s Mail & Guardian hitting news stands early on Thursday, ahead of Easter.

Here is a taste of the articles you can expect:

  • Jesus Christ lived in the townships
  • Islam: The new mosque on the block
  • Buddhism: the silence of sounds
  • Cults: End of the world as we know it
  • Online: Jesus tweets and kosher apps
  • Agnostic: Certain of my doubt
  • Politics: The seven deadliest sins in SA
