Playoff is an artistic pas de deux between sculptor Gordon Froud and painter Lance Friedlander, which opens this week. Froud’s work consists of interrelated sculptures that aim to get under the skin of the human condition, interweaving genetics, bacteria and viruses with off-kilter self-portraits.
