Catch the Gautrain to get to Conrad Koch’s latest show, or take the cheap route and catch quality theatre for free.
? Comedy ventriloquist Conrad Koch has put out a press release saying that a Gautrain ride has inspired him to invite patrons to access his show, My-Pro-Doll and NuroFriends, via Jozi’s newest transport service because the Gautrain station is within walking distance of the Square. Koch’s show, directed by Heinrich Reisenhofer, is touted as a ‘multimedia extravaganza” in which ‘anything can happen— a classical deconstruction where the puppets take over like never before. The special effects planned are set to make the puppets come to life.” Koch is a qualified social anthropologist and his chosen form, ventriloquism, is enjoying something of an international renaissance.
