The latest rewiring of the BMW i3 and i3S EV (electrical vehicle) allows for longer trips, and better charging infrastructure is being built every day. The import duty-laden vehicle presents a “green” alternative for those subtle eco-friendly activists who still work for a living.
Technology
The i3 is four years old, and after meeting the owner of one highest mileage vehicles on the continent, it is somewhat encouraging to see effect the EV has on the minds of its owners. The i3S has moved a notch forward in design and architecture, but has still managed to remain distinct in its fresh appeal. Recycled, rejuvenated and with a better gas range, the new model is shockingly quick, and nimble enough to allow you to “do the time warp again”.
