Police have executed a search and seizure warrant at the KwaZulu-Natal residence of on-leave Police Minister Senzo Mchunu, confiscating a cellphone amid escalating investigations.
Suspended deputy police commissioner Shadrack Sibiya has appeared in court on charges including rape and child trafficking, and will remain in custody pending a bail hearing.
