At least 13 people were killed and dozens injured on Sunday when a large explosion ripped through a Christmas market in the southern Philippine city of General Santos. Shoppers fled in panic when the apparently home-made device destroyed the stall it was thought to be hidden in and wrecked most of the surrounding area.

Funny how women view cars so differently from men. With many men, it’s a kind of testosterone thing. HB Halicki’s 1974 action romp credits 28 actors in its cast, but all of them play second fiddle to Eleanor. After that, she probably retired to a garage someplace.
