Proteas coach Allan Donald is impressed with talented Kagiso Radaba and believes he will have a bright future with the Proteas.
Cricket South Africa should take note of the education and cricket initiative started by Jacques Kallis — and follow suit.
South Africa’s Allan Donald believes success for MornĂ© Morkel is imminent and it will not take long before the seam bowler finds his form again.

Cricket legend Allan Donald has offered his help to the Proteas in their quest to beat world champions Australia later this year.
Now that the cricketing summer is about to begin in earnest, England can look forward to another rousing encounter with South Africa.
The key to retaining his vein of good form in India will be consistency, South Africa fast bowler Dale Steyn said on Monday. The 24-year-old is on a hot streak after grabbing 14 wickets in the 2-0 rout of Bangladesh this month, becoming the quickest South African to reach the 100-wicket mark.
Dale Steyn used to be a well-scrubbed bloke who wore a goofy grin that wobbled harmlessly under starry, starry eyes. He was polite and cheerful, and he could bowl a bit. He probably never said ”Well, golly gee.” But if he did, we would have chuckled heartily and ruffled his hair as if the lot of us were in a Spur commercial.
Tearaway South Africa speedster Dale Steyn is smacking his lips in anticipation of a battle royal with India’s batsmen in the upcoming three-Test series. Steyn (24) taught Bangladesh a few lessons in fast bowling in the recent two-Test series, from which he bagged 14 wickets, and is now training his guns on India, who have recently returned from their Australia tour.
Bangladesh were staring down the barrel after losing a clutch of wickets on the third day of the second and final Test against South Africa on Sunday. The hosts limped to 245-7 at tea with tailenders Mohammad Rafique, batting on 10, and Mashrafe Mortaza (0) at the crease.

Shaun Pollock said he didn’t want his final round of international matches to be a ”Polly parade” but it is inevitable that South Africa’s star all-rounder will be feted as he makes his last appearances at the country’s major grounds during a five-match one-day international series against the West Indies, which starts at Centurion on Sunday.

Despite beating the West Indies by an innings and 100 runs with two days in hand to win the Castle Lager series two-one, South Africa will go down one place on the international rankings, dropping below Sri Lanka to third place, but Proteas captain Graeme Smith is not too concerned.

It took Kevin Pietersen, of all people, to articulate the edgy appeal of the Twenty20 World Championship. ”Twenty20 is totally different from one-day cricket, where you can plan your innings and do so many things in your preparation to make sure the procedures you want to happen out in the middle do happen,” he said this week.
