Exxaro Resources has aimed to acquire the Mayoko iron ore project in the Republic of Congo by making a bid for Australia-listed company African Iron.
Difficult economic times are seeing employers negotiating a myriad of challenges, including demands for salary increases and better packages.
Exxaro Resources has said it had bid $130-million in cash for Australia’s Territory Resources, as part of its plan to expand into iron ore mining.
