Russia coach Guus Hiddink revealed on Wednesday that he would consider a return to the Premier League after his successful spell at Chelsea.
Of the eight coaches who led their teams to the quarterfinals of Euro 2008, the youngest is still in his 30s, while the oldest will be 70 next month.
If Spain expects the same generosity from Russia in the semifinals that it received in the teams’ first match of the tournament, it must think again.

Steve McClaren paid the price of England’s failure to qualify for Euro 2008 on Thursday when he was unceremoniously dismissed from his position as head coach.
