SA pacemen rip through Bangladesh top order

South Africa pacemen Dale Steyn and Morne Morkel took two wickets apiece to help the tourists rip through the Bangladesh top order, leaving the hosts on 85 for five at lunch on the opening day of the first Test on Friday. After winning the toss and opting to bat, Bangladesh’s hopes of making a good start were dashed almost immediately when Steyn caught and bowled promising opener Tamim Iqbal.

Kiwis wrap up one-day series

New Zealand produced a solid all-round performance to wrap up their three-match one-day series against Bangladesh with a 102-run victory under the Duckworth-Lewis system in the second game in Napier on Friday. New Zealand had scored 335-5 in their 50 overs, with Peter Fulton top-scoring with 83, before rain forced the players from the field.
