Santaco said on Tuesday its members would not be joining taxi drivers marching to the Union Buildings in protest against the traffic demerit system.
The Durban taxi strike which left thousands of commuters stranded on Monday has been called off.
Taxi drivers and operators across the country will strike from September 1 over the implementation of the Bus Rapid Transit system.
