India said on Monday that it had agreed to a modified version of the controversial Umpire Decision Review System, bringing to an end a damaging row.
The use of video technology could become mandatory after the issue is discussed during the International Cricket Council’s annual conference.
The ICC should ensure the controversial decision review system is used in all Test series, according to Australia captain Ricky Ponting.
The ICC says Bangladesh should have the Umpire Decision Review System (UDRS) for their next home series and wants broadcasters to pay for it.
