SOUTH AFRICAN cyclists Garen Bloch and Jean Pierre van Zyl both won bronze medals at the World Cup qualifying event at Cali in Colombia at the weekend.
Bloch came third in the points race, and Van Zyl did the same in the Kierin race. Bloch also set a new South African record when he logged a time of 4:34:25 in the 4 000m individual pursuit time, earning him fifth position.
