SOUTH African Breweries Namibian interest, the Namibian National Beverage Company (NAB), has changed its name to Castle Brewing Namibia. NAB said the decision to change to Castle Brewing was taken to clear up the public confusion with other companies in Namibia with similar names. It will also link the company clearly with its flagship brand — Castle lager. Castle Brewing, which has faced fierce opposition from its only Namibian competitor, the Namibia Breweries Limited, has been making inroads in the Namibian market, in particular in the northern parts of the country.
