NIGERIA’S president-elect, Olusegun Obasanjo, will next Saturday start a gruelling month-long world tour to renew his international contacts. Obasanjo will kick off in South Africa before moving on to Namibia, Mozambique, Tanzania and Kenya. He will then head to Asia, where he will visit China and Japan. From Asia, and after a brief stop back in Nigeria, the retired general will head to Britain, France, Germany and Italy on the European leg of his odyssey. And, possibly after another quick respite in Nigeria, he will then wrap it up with a visit to the United States.
