BRITISH TRADE EXPO IN NELSPRUIT

TRADE and investment between Mpumalanga and Britain will be boosted with the opening of a major British exhibition in Nelspruit next month. The exhibition will be opened by Nick Mclnnes, British consul-general, on July 6 at the Nelspruit civic centre. The exhibition is part of a three-year “partners in opportunity” campaign in South Africa, and will run for two days. Its purpose is to highlight British expertise, style and commitment to South Africa and its regions, and to develop links with Mpumalanga. “I will be looking to expand my business contacts also highlighting commercial services available to local business people,” said Mclnnes. “I believe there are real opportunities to strengthen and develop links between Britain and Mpumalanga in business and through community outreach programmes,” he added.
