PIENAAR WOULD COACH BOKS

FRANCOIS Pienaar, SA’s World CUp-winning captain, said he would not refuse an emergency request to coach the current struggling Springbok side. The 32-year-old player and rugby director at English club Saracens, has been linked with a return to the SA fold after they endured a fourth consecutive test defeat when losing 34-187 to New Zealand in the Tri-Nations on Saturday. ”I would be delighted to help out,” said Pienaar. ”But I simply can’t see it happening. It’s a very far-fetched scenario.”
