SUN Air staff and the Federated Unions of SA (Fedusa) have a plan to rescue the troubled airline, Network Radio News reported on Thursday. Fedusa assistant general secretary Dennis George said staff and management would hold a major stake in Sun Air in terms of the new deal. He said more than one international airline has come forward to be part of the deal and black empowerment partners were also being considered. Sun Air staff and Fedusa will meet Public Enterprises Minister Jeff Radebe later on Thursday to discuss the problem.
