LAND BANK CHIEF CLEARED

LAND Bank MD Helena Dolny has been exonerated on allegations corruption, racism and nepotism. The allegations were first made by former Land Bank board chairman Bonile Jack, in a report to the land affairs and agriculture now widely regarded as being motivated by sour grapes. Jack’s accusations were investigated by an independent commission of inquiry, which handed its findings to the Land Bank board on Monday. The findings have not been published, but The Star, quotes a source close to the bank saying Dolny has been cleared of the allegations. However, the report recommends that Dolny’s last salary increase, which doubled her pay, be reversed as the correct procedures were not followed.
