THE headless body of a 60-year-old man was found in bushes in a rural village near Thohoyandou in Northern Province on Monday. Police spokesman Captain Ailwei Mushavhanamadi said the victim’s arms and a leg had been sawed off. The victim, identified as William Mulaudzi, was found by a passerby on Monday afternoon in Khubvi village, 10km east of Thohoyandou. Mulaudzi had been missing since August 26. No arrests have been made. The grisly find follows the discovery five days ago of the dismembered body of a four-year-old girl, about five kilometres away from Khubvi. Her body was severely mutilated and her legs and arms were also missing. Police said the girl’s mother and two other people were arrested in connection with kidnapping. The child was reported missing two days before she was found dead.
