Former president Nelson Mandela will mark the 10th anniversary on Friday of his release from 27 years in apartheid jails by opening a three-part museum in honour of his achievements and life. Mandela is due to attend opening ceremonies at each of the branches of the museum, at his birthplace Mvezo, his hometown Qunu and Umtata. The museums are expected to bring tourist dollars and jobs to the rural and underdeveloped Eastern Cape.
