A LAST-gasp penalty by Casper Steyn secured victory for the Blue Bulls in a Vodacom Cup match against the Mpumalanga Pumas on Saturday. The Bulls led comfortably by 28-12 halfway through the second-half, but just when they thought they had it won the Pumas scored three tries. Geoff Appleford scored two and Frikkie Welsh grabbed the third to give the Pumas a 33-31 lead. Bulls skipper Jacques Olivier, however, went on a strong run from his goalline and forced the injury-time penalty which Steyn slotted to give his side victory.
