Limpopo-based Dynamos and KwaZulu-Natal-based Golden Arrows played to a goalless draw in their Premier Soccer League encounter at the Giyani Stadium on Sunday.
Both teams set off like a house on fire, entertaining a small crowd of soccer lovers. It was a game of missed opportunities as both strikers fluffed their scoring opportunities by missing the target, sometimes shooting straight to the two goalkpeepers, Arthur Baartman (Dynamos) and Kalililo Kakonge.
In the second half, both coaches — Lifa Qhoso of Dynamos and Kabo Zondo of Arrows — made several changes, hoping for a lucky goal which never materialised, denying soccer fans the chance to celebrate.
The Arrows coach was a happy man at the end of the game, having collected a point from an away game to take his team to 22 points from 15 games, with seven draws and five wins. The home team have 17 points from 15 games, with four wins and five draws. – Sapa
