The two men who were arrested on Sunday night in connection with the murders of actor Brett Goldin and fashion designer Richard Bloom were released on Monday, Western Cape police said.
”The two men who were held for questioning were not charged and were released this afternoon [Monday]. The investigation continues,” said Superintendent Billy Jones.
He said the men, aged 20 and 25, were from the Rondebosch East area.
Nine people have already been arrested and will appear in the Wynberg Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday in connection with the murders.
Goldin and Bloom were found dead in a field next to the off-ramp from the M5 freeway to Klipfontein road in Mowbray last Monday.
They were found lying on their stomachs, naked, each with a bullet wound to the back of the head. — Sapa
