Shoki Mokgapa is a South African actress who made her television debut in ITV UK’s drama, Wild at Heart (2007).
Since then, she has appeared on the American version of Wild at Heart called Life is Wild (2007), which was screened on the CW Network.
She made her South African debut on the television series The Lab (2008) directed by Barry Berk, where she played Pearl Losupho’s ditsy secretary Tumi. Since then she has gone on to appear in numerous productions including HBO’s The Prisoner (2008), Silent Witness (2009) and more recently she has appeared in films, including BBC Film’s The First Grader (2009), directed by Justin Chadwick who also directed The Other Boleyn Girl.
Mokgapa was trained at AFDA, The School of Motion Picture Medium and Live Performance in Johannesburg where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Live Performance.
