Contractors to Evaluate the Outcome of Humana Total Control of the Epidemic (TCE) Program

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
The overall purpose of the evaluation is to assess the extent to which the TCEanticipated program outcomes were achieved:

  • Undertaking a comprehensive front end analysis of the program
  • Develop a detailed evaluation protocol
  • Implement the evaluation process
  • Prepare a range of reports on the findings of the evaluation and participate in theprovision of feedback and dissemination of key findings

Evaluation Team- Required expertise and experience:
The evaluation team should comprise of individuals with the following expertise

  • Extensive evaluation experience particularly in the South Africa; demonstrated experience in undertaking similar evaluations
  • Programmatic experience in HIV Prevention: sexual and other risk behaviour prevention programs
  • Familiarity with the South African government systems, particularly in relation to working with of community based and non-government organization
  • Capacity development expertise
  • Extensive experience in employing both qualitative and quantitative data collection methods including participatory evaluation techniques and survey methods
