Higher Education Minister Blade Nzimande and Public Service Minister Lindiwe Sisulu kissed on the sidelines of the Cabinet lekgotla in Pretoria on Tuesday, taking a jab at Agang SA and the DA's failed merger.
"This here will last for more than five days," Nzimande said as he laughed at reporters who clicked their cameras while the two kissed.
Sisulu broke away from Nzimande and laughed loudly.
Last Tuesday, Democratic Alliance leader Helen Zille and Agang SA leader Mamphela Ramphele sealed their political "marriage" with a kiss at a media briefing in Cape Town.
Zille had announced Ramphele was to be the DA's presidential candidate in the upcoming election.
Ramphele has since reneged on the agreement, with each pointing fingers at the other for the failed merger.
The Cabinet lekgotla, which started on Tuesday, will end on Thursday. – Sapa
