  • The electronic music duo Matteo and Karm, aka Tale of Us, in partnership with Bridges for Music, is participating in a fundraising tour of South Africa. Supporting acts include Trancemicsoul, Jazzuelle, Deep Aztec, AudioJerk, Cabin Crew, Dogstar, Fabio, Killer Robot, Thibo Tazz and Black Book. The aim is to support Bridges for Music’s educational projects in townships such as Langa in Cape Town, where the nonprofit organisation wants to build a creative school for underprivileged children. Every ticket bought goes towards making this dream a reality.   • Catch the 48-member Miagi “New Skool” Orchestra’s Celebrating South Africa’s 20 Years of Democracy tour. The orchestra will be conducted by Tshepo Tsotetsi and the young South African conductor from the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra, Brandon Phillips. The soloist is the world-renowned Swedish soprano saxophonist and composer Anders Paulsson.   • Forming Impression: The Ghost in the Machine is a curated exhibition of original prints from the Artist Proof Studio and Warren Editions, presented by the AVA Gallery in partnership with Spier. It takes its title from Gilbert Ryle’s critique of Hume’s distinction between ideas and impressions, and questions whether South African printmakers, particularly those whose works can be characterised as abstract expressionism, are influenced by expressionism’s own claims that there is a duality inherent in expressive form.
