Kaizer Chiefs have given their Serbian born coach Vladimir Vermezovic, a big vote of confidence.
The case involving former Bafana Bafana player Doctor Khumalo — who faces charges of drunken, reckless and negligent driving — is still being investigated. Police spokesperson Govidsamy Mariemuthoo said Khumalo’s accident report and blood samples were still being analysed and investigated.

Five years after its developers announced that the construction of the Kaizer Chiefs Stadium would be complete by this year, not a brick has been laid. The controversial consulting company embroiled in an alleged 2010 stadium tender irregularity in Nespruit now faces a strike by its sub-contractors. The sub-contractors working on the construction of the 2010 Mbombela stadium in Nelspruit have threatened to strike next week because they haven’t been paid R9-million due to them.
