The Nelson Mandela Museum is to run a year-long festival to celebrate the 90th birthday of the revered former president, Kader Asmal has announced.
The Pan Africanist Congress of Azania (PAC) will seek to reshape its constitution and organisational structure at its national conference, the party said on Wednesday. The party will hold its seventh annual national conference at the University of Fort Hare in July.
Two senior University of Fort Hare academics have been suspended after an apparent examination bungle, Dispatch Online reported on Thursday. They are Professor John Hendricks, dean of social sciences and humanities, and school of social sciences director Fhulu Nekhwevha.
