Double Olympic 800m champion Caster Semenya on Tuesday won her appeal to the European Court of Human Rights to challenge whether her rights had been infringed in terms of requiring women with high testosterone to reduce those levels through drugs.

In April, the athletics body introduced new “eligibility regulations for female classification” that restricted the testosterone levels
The British athlete said the decision to overturn rules on testosterone suppression meant that other athletes did not stand a chance against Semenya.
